
Following SSU investigation, FSB agent sentenced to 15 years in prison for adjusting enemy strikes on Zaporizhzhia

Based on the investigation by the Security Service of Ukraine, another agent of russia's federal security service, who spied in Zaporizhzhia, has been convicted to 15 years in prison. The perpetrator prepared coordinates for russian air strikes on the city.
The enemy accomplice is a 19-year-old student at a local university, recruited by the occupiers through her godmother, a collaborator from the temporarily occupied part of the region.
According to the investigation, the agent tried to identify backup command posts of the Defense Forces as well as defense companies operating in the region.
She also collected information about the consequences of enemy strikes and the sites hit.
The SSU Counterintelligence detained the traitor in March 2024.
A phone with evidence of her work for russia was seized from the agent during searches.
Based on the evidence collected by SSU investigators, the court found the accused guilty under Articles 28.2 and 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law, by a group, upon prior conspiracy).
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Zaporizhzhia Office under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor's Office.
