The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a joint special operation, as a result of which two russian SU-34 fighter-bombers were destroyed at the Marynivka airfield and two more were damaged. These multi-role fighter jets are actively used by russia on the front line for bombing, including for dropping guided aerial bombs.
The SOF of the AFU and the SSU targeted the russian fighter jets with long-range drones.
The attacks also caused a fire in the technical and operational part of the enemy airfield, which is critical infrastructure for this military facility. This is where the enemy prepares aircraft for flights and carries out routine maintenance and repairs.
Together with our brothers-in-arms, we continue our work to weaken russian army's air force. Military airfields and aircraft deep behind enemy lines are absolutely legitimate targets for Ukraine!
