The SSU Military Counterintelligence prevented a series of russian missile and drone strikes on military infrastructure in western Ukraine.

As a result of a special operation in Rivne region, the SSU detained an enemy agent who was collecting coordinates for an air attack on operational airfields and logistics depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The perpetrator is a 24-year-old local unemployed man, recruited remotely by Ilya Kudryavtsev, a serviceman of the FSB central office.

The traitor came to the attention of the occupiers through Telegram channels, where he was looking for easy money.

After recruitment, the agent received instructions from his handler to look for military installations, conduct reconnaissance in the area, and pass on the coordinates.

To fulfill the task, the traitor installed a hidden camera in his car, then drove around the area and recorded the locations of the Defense Forces on a video device.

The SSU uncovered the agent and detained him red-handed while he was filming the outer perimeter of a military facility.

Action was taken to protect the locations of Ukrainian troops.

A phone, a covert surveillance camera, and other evidence of working for the enemy were seized at the scene and in the suspect's apartment.

SSU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The suspect is in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was conducted under the procedural supervision of Rivne Region Prosecutor's Office.
