In Khmelnytskyi region, the Security Service has detained another agent of russia's federal security service. The perpetrator adjusted russian airstrikes on the region and manufactured improvised explosive devices for terrorist attacks.

The traitor is a 59-year-old local unemployed woman who was recruited via Telegram.

The agent tracked the locations of the Defense Forces and passed their coordinates to her handler. The enemy's priority targets were backup command posts and administrative buildings of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For secrecy, she covertly photographed military objects, pretending to be on the phone as she passed by them.

At the same time, the agent received instructions from her handler to manufacture improvised explosive devices.

Following the instructions of the russian special service, the woman purchased all the necessary components for the bombs, but did not have time to assemble them.

The SSU's cyber units detained the agent red-handed while she was spying near a military unit.

A phone with evidence of her work for the FSB was seized from the suspect at the scene. Components for an explosive device were found during a search of her home.

SSU investigators notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The suspect is in custody without bail and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Khmelnytskyi region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor's Office.
