Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Maia Sandu Discussed Energy Challenges in Moldova

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with President of Moldova Maia Sandu.
The key topic was support for Moldova in overcoming a difficult period of energy challenges, including on the left bank of the Dniester. The current energy situation is an attempt by Russia to manipulate energy resources against the authorities in Moldova.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine is ready to help Moldova, particularly with coal. The Head of State emphasized the importance of maintaining stability and creating conditions for all people of Moldova to live in peace, overcome poverty and move together with Ukraine towards the European Union.
