On November 29, 2024, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Eurasian Affairs Li Hui met with visiting Director of Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office Ben Fender at the latter's request. The two sides mainly had an exchange of views on the Ukraine crisis.
