The adversary continues to utilize the propaganda machine to wage information warfare, to falsely accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine and further escalate the situation.
This time, the aggressor-state is falsely accusing the Ukrainian defenders of allegedly shelling a Russian border guard post in Rostov region. This is simply untrue.
The building depicted in the pictures and videos spread by the Russian propaganda media outlets looks a lot more like a small storage shed than a border guard post.
Moreover, the Joint Forces artillery units are withdrawn to the rear of the Ukrainian positions. Therefore, taking into consideration the technical characteristics of the artillery systems available to the Armed Forces of Ukraine the shelling of the aforementioned shed is impossible.
Besides, the Russian media outlets continue to spread information regarding a rapid escalation in the vicinity of the Russia-Ukrainian border. This is the official statement of the Joint Forces and we inform everyone that the Armed Forces of Ukraine units remain on the previously occupied positions, strictly abide by the Minsk Agreements and do not carry out any offensive operations.
With Ukrainian defenders refraining from any aggressive acts that could possibly trigger a violent response, the Russian occupation forces continue to destroy civilian infrastructure and sporadically shell civilian settlements.
