
Updated situation in the Joint Forces Operation area as of 11.00 February 19, 2022

The situation in the Joint Forces Operation area remains under control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of 11 o'clock this morning, February 19, 25 incidents of ceasefire violation by the Russian occupation forces were observed, including 23 incidents when the Russian occupation forces utilized weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements.
The Russian occupation forces shelled the following settlements:
NOVOTROITSKE on the four separate occasions using 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, and 122 mm artillery systems.
HRANITNE using 122 mm artillery systems.
STAROHNATIVKA on three separate occasions using 122 mm artillery systems., 120 mm and 82 mm mortars.
NOVOSELIVKA using 122 mm artillery systems.
BOLOTENE using 82 mm mortars.
VODIANE using 122 mm artillery systems and 120 mm mortars.
SHYROKYNE using 120 mm mortars.
MYRONIVSKYI using 122 mm artillery systems.
NOVOHNATIVKA using 120 mm mortars.
SVITLODARSK on two separate occasions using 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, antitank grenade launchers, automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine gun.
TRAVNEVE using 120 mm mortars.
LOBACHEVE using 120 mm mortars.
PIVDENNE using 82 mm mortars, ATGM systems and antitank grenade launchers.
NOVOZVANIVKA using antitank grenade launchers.
LUHANSKE using 120 mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and man-portable antitank grenade launchers.
AVDIIVKA using 82 mm mortars.
SCHASTIA using 82 mm mortars.
KRYMSKE using 82 mm mortars.
Moreover, over the last 24 hours there was 1 incident of the adversary UAV's, most likely Orlan-10, crossing the line of contact and flying over the areas of Donetsk controlled by the Ukrainian government.
The Joint Forces suffered a casualty as a result of enemy fire. One Ukrainian service members was KIA, as a result of a shrapnel wound. The Joint Forces Command expresses sincere condolences to the bereaved family and friends.
The Joint Forces are in control of the situation and respond appropriately to all potential threats.
The crime-related situation in the Joint Forces Operation area is considered relatively stable.
Over the course of the last 24 hours the police units, engaged in the Joint Forces Operation, inspected 3726 vehicles and 3580 individuals, including 2 individuals inspected for affiliation with the Russian Federation armed formations. Moreover, the police units were able to identify 38 cases of misdemeanor and investigate 30 offenses.
1009 individuals passed through the entry-exit checkpoints going to the occupied territory and 852 individuals passed to return to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.
In order to implement the security measures aimed at protecting the civilian population, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine pyrotechnic units of the Joint Forces demined almost 7 hectares of land and transferred for disposal 1593 items of explosive ordnance.
The Joint Forces units continue to carry out assigned missions of defeating and deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
