Sending weapons to Russia against Ukraine baseless claim: FM SPOX

Tehran, IRNA -- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani on Friday said that sending Iranian weapons to Russia against Ukraine is a baseless accusation.

" Sending iranian weapons to Russia for use in Ukraine is a baseless accusation that they raise every day to legitimize their daily action of exporting weapons to Ukraine," Kanaani wrote on his Twitter account on Friday.

The claimants against Iran are both the cause of starting the war and the cause of its continuation, Kanaani added.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman on his Twitter account said that Iran opposes war and supports ceasefire and peace.
