Tehran (ISNA) - Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani expressed his regrets for Ukraine's recent decision about reducing diplomatic ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran, while adding that the decision has been affected by the foreign media.
Referring to the clear and unbiased policy of Islamic Republic of Iran over Russia-Ukraine war, the Iranian spokesman put emphasis on Iran's objection to the war and on the need for resolving the differences politically without any violence, as highlighting that the meetings and telephone calls with Russian and Ukrainian counterparts in the past months were held to address the current crisis.
Nasser Kanaani stressed that Iran would take proper measures in response to Ukraine's decision, while advising the country to avoid being affected by the third countries, aiming to destroy the relations of Iran-Ukraine.
