The prime ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia met in Kiev with the prime minister and president of Ukraine

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Committee for National Security and Defense Affairs Jarosław Kaczyński, together with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala and Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Janša went by train to a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Szmyhal. The main topic of the talks was Russia's aggression in Ukraine, the restoration of security and recognition for the heroic struggle of the Ukrainians. The head of the Polish government emphasized how important it is for Ukraine to obtain the status of a candidate for the European Union. The visit to Kiev was prepared in close coordination with European representatives.
The international community, including organizations such as the OSCE, UN and NATO, was informed about the delegation. The head of the Polish government also discussed this with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
Support for the entire EU for the independence of Ukraine
The purpose of the visit is to confirm the unequivocal support of the entire European Union for the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine and to present a broad package of support for the Ukrainian state and society. The head of the Polish government assured that our country stands behind Ukraine.
- The European Union must very quickly grant the status of a candidate and invite Ukraine to the European Union - emphasized Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. Ukraine fights not only for its freedom and independence, but also defends fundamental European values.
It is a fight for all of us
Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński pointed out that Ukraine is fighting for all of us. - This is a fight for this civilization which is the most benevolent to man of all civilizations in the history of the world - emphasized Deputy Prime Minister Kaczyński.
At the same time, he encouraged a bold attitude and decision. This is essential to ensure Ukraine's effective defense - and thus security on the eastern flank of the European Union and NATO.
Reach the consciences of Europeans
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appealed to the consciences of all Europeans and people of good will all over the world. Europe will not be the same without Ukraine. Europe without Ukraine will be a symbol of failure and weakness. We cannot all let that happen together.
Humanitarian aid is our primary responsibility. We have much more possibilities, we can, we want and we must offer more to Ukraine. That is why, during the meeting, the head of the Polish government provided details of the aid financed from the European Union budget. Once again he called for the strengthening of sanctions. The prime minister asked: - Is your comfort, citizens of the European Union, more important than the blood of children here, in the heart of Ukraine?

Prezes Rady Ministrów Mateusz Morawiecki oraz wiceprezes Rady Ministrów, przewodniczący Komitetu ds. Bezpieczeństwa Narodowego i spraw Obronnych Jarosław Kaczyński wraz z premierem Czech Petrem Fialą oraz premierem Słowenii Janezem Janšą udali się pociągiem na spotkanie z prezydentem Ukrainy Wołodymyrem Zełenskim i premierem Ukrainy Denysem Szmyhalem. Głównym tematem rozmów była agresja Rosji w Ukrainie, przywrócenie bezpieczeństwa i uznanie dla bohaterskiej walki Ukraińców. Szef polskiego rządu podkreślił jak ważne jest uzyskanie przez Ukrainę status kandydata do Unii Europejskiej. Wizyta w Kijowie była przygotowana w ścisłej koordynacji z przedstawicielami europejskimi.
O delegacji poinformowana była społeczność międzynarodowa, w tym organizacje takie jak OBWE, ONZ i NATO. Szef polskiego rządu rozmawiał o tym również z Przewodniczącą Komisji Europejskiej Ursulą von der Leyen i Przewodniczącym Rady Europejskiej Charlesem Michelem.
Poparcie całej UE dla niepodległości Ukrainy
Celem wizyty jest potwierdzenie jednoznacznego poparcia całej Unii Europejskiej dla suwerenności i niepodległości Ukrainy oraz przedstawienie szerokiego pakietu wsparcia dla państwa i społeczeństwa ukraińskiego. Szef polskiego rządu zapewnił, że nasz kraj stoi murem za Ukrainą.
- Unia Europejska musi bardzo szybko nadać status kandydata i zaprosić Ukrainę do Unii Europejskiej - podkreślił premier Mateusz Morawiecki. Ukraina walczy nie tylko o swoją wolność i niepodległość, ale broni podstawowych wartości europejskich.
To walka o nas wszystkich
Wicepremier Jarosław Kaczyński wskazał, że Ukraina walczy o nas wszystkich. - To jest walka o tę cywilizację, która jest najbardziej życzliwa człowiekowi ze wszystkich cywilizacji w dziejach świata - podkreślił wicepremier Kaczyński.
Jednocześnie zachęcił do odważnej postawy i decyzji. To niezbędne, by zapewnić Ukrainie skuteczną obronę - a tym samym bezpieczeństwo na wschodniej flance Unii Europejskiej i NATO.
Dotrzeć do sumień Europejczyków
Premier Mateusz Morawiecki apelował do sumień wszystkich Europejczyków i ludzi dobrej woli na całym świecie. Europa bez Ukrainy nie będzie taka sama. Europa bez Ukrainy będzie symbolem porażki i słabości. My wszyscy razem nie możemy do tego dopuścić.
