Russia has given Ruslan Nimchinskiy, an adviser with the Ukrainian embassy in Moscow, a note on the move of Black Sea fleet armored vehicles in Crimea, which is in line with the Russian-Ukrainian agreements, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

'Ukraine was also given the Russian Foreign Ministry's response on the movement of the armored vehicles of the Black Sea fleet of the Russian Federation in Crimea, which is associated with the need to ensure the security of the places where the Black Sea fleet is stationed on the territory of Ukraine, which is fully in line with the fundamental Russian-Ukrainian agreements on the Black Sea fleet,' a report posted on the ministry's website after Nimchinskiy's visit to the Russian Foreign Ministry says.

The report says that a meeting with Nimchinskiy was held on Friday, and 'he was given a response addressed to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on Ukraine's proposal to hold emergency bilateral consultations in accordance with Article 7 of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership Between the Russian Federation and Ukraine of May 31, 1997 in connection with the events in the Republic of Crimea.
