THE US EXPORTS WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION TO BRITAIN UNDER AN
AGREEMENT MADE IN 1958. BUT EVERY TEN YEARS IT HAS TO BE RENEWED BY
CONGRESS AND 2004 IS A YEAR IT HAS TO BE RENEWED.
US SUPPLIES OF WMD TO BRITAIN ARE CRUCIAL TO BRITAIN'S SUPPORT FOR US
POLICY.
PRESENT US WMD EXPORTS TO THE UK INCLUDE TRIDENT D5 MISSILES AND NUCLEAR
