IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Ankara, June 17, IRNA -- Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said that no country will be allowed to use Incirlik Air Base against Iran.
'Incirlik Air Base is just being used for fighting terrorism and no one will ever get permission to attack any country through it,' Yıldırım said, addressing BaBaLa TV - YouTube program.
He made the remarks answering a question on US possible demand to use Incirlik to attack Iran.
Since signing the Treaty of Qasr-e Shirin between Iran and the Ottoman Empire (1639), there has been no war between Iran and Turkey, he said.
Incirlik Air Base is a Turkish air base of slightly more than 3320 ac (1335 ha), located in the İncirlik quarter of the city of Adana, Turkey.
