The Ministry of National Defense stated today (September 5) that at 1034 hours, the People's Liberation Army conducted a carrier rocket satellite launch mission at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. The rocket's flight path passed through central Taiwan toward the Western Pacific, posing no harm to the Taiwan area. The ROC Armed Forces employed the joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance system to closely monitor related developments, and took appropriate vigilance and response measures.
