Taipei, July 8 (CNA) The Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) on Tuesday warned that flights at seven airports across Taiwan could be affected by the nationwide Han Kuang military exercises scheduled between July 9 and 18.

In a news release listing dates when flight schedules may be impacted at specific airports, the CAA said the extent of disruptions will depend on daily drill operations and airspace conditions.

Flights at Taichung International Airport may be affected on July 9 and from July 13 to 15, while Taoyuan International Airport could see disruptions from July 13 to 17, the agency said.

Kaohsiung International Airport, Taipei Songshan Airport and Tainan Airport may be affected on July 13 and 16, with Tainan Airport also potentially impacted on July 14, the agency continued.

Moreover, Hualien Airport may face flight disruptions on July 15 and 16, while Chiayi Airport could be affected on July 16, it added.

Air traffic authorities may implement control measures as needed, which could result in flights being rescheduled to earlier or later times and disruption after the exercises conclude, the CAA said.

The CAA advised passengers to check with airlines for the latest flight information before departure.
