BEIJING, April 23 -- Zhu Anqing, spokesperson for China Coast Guard's East China Sea Bureau, stated that on April 23, the Fujian Coast Guard conducted routine law enforcement patrols in waters near Kinmen in accordance with the law.
Since the start of April, the Fujian Coast Guard has deployed its vessels to continuously conduct law enforcement patrols in waters near Kinmen, further strengthening the control of relevant waters, effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests as well as the lives and property of Chinese fishermen, including those from Taiwan region, and effectively ensuring the normal navigation and operation order in the Xiamen-Kinmen waters.
