
Wanan air raid exercises take place in Taipei

Taipei, July 24 (CNA) The annual Wanan air raid drill began in northern Taiwan at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, bringing traffic to a halt and sending civilians to shelter in a safe place.
When the traffic controls were lifted at 2 p.m., other exercises were conducted, including dealing with simulated missile strikes on Nangang Station in Taipei. Emergency services and firefighters were deployed to contain the fire and treat the wounded.
