The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (27th) that two Russian frigates were detected as of 2300 as they sailed from south to north through the eastern waters of our country, and left our response area from the open waters of Suao to the southeast. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to stay abreast of developments of the Russian vessels throughout, and dispatched mission aircraft, warships, and shore-mounted missile systems to closely monitor the situation.
