The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that a vessel of the US Coast Guard passed through the Taiwan Strait today (22nd) as it performed a "freedom of navigation" mission from south to north. The Armed Forces was fully aware of relevant trends and developments of surrounding sea waters and air space, and the situation was considered normal.
