Taipei, June 22 (CNA) Two Chinese military aircraft were spotted entering Taiwan's air defense identification zone (ADIZ) on Monday for a second day in a row and the sixth time in seven days according to the Ministry of National Defense (MND).
An H-6 bomber and a Chengdu J-10 fighter briefly entered the southwestern corner of Taiwan's ADIZ in the South China Sea at around noon, the MND's Air Force Command Headquarters said in a press release.
Taiwanese patrol aircraft responded with radio warnings until the Chinese planes left, the statement said.
According to the MND, Monday's intrusion was the eighth time in June that a Chinese military plane has been discovered in Taiwan's ADIZ, following similar occurrences on June 9, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21.
