Taipei, Nov. 25 (CNA) Taiwan's top negotiator with China said Sunday he has organized two trips to China in December to address the education problems faced by children of Taiwanese business people based there.

Lin Join-sane, who took up chairmanship of the Straits Exchange Foundation in September, said he will first visit schools attended by students whose parents are based in Nanjing, Kunshan, and Shanghai.

On his second trip, Lin said, he and a group of officials from Taiwan's Ministry of Education will discuss educational issues with Taiwanese businessmen in China.

The delegation will also attend several ceremonies in Quanzhou and Xiamen, at which new presidents of Taiwanese business associations will be inducted.

Regarding the follow-up to the cross-strait trade pact, Lin said he hopes to include service trade in the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement as soon as possible, as agreed by Taiwan and China.
