China's Ministry of Commerce delegation to visit

Taipei, Oct. 5 (CNA) A delegation from China's Ministry of Commerce will attend the 2010 Asia MICE forum in Taipei Oct. 7-8, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) said in a statement released Monday.
The delegation will be led by Huo Jianguo, director of the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC) under the Commerce Ministry, TAITRA said.
CAITEC, which owns the largest Chinese library database in commerce and trade, is a think tank as well as a social science research and consulting institute.
During the conference, Huo will participate in a panel discussion in his capacity as president of the China Convention and Exhibition Society (CEES), TAITRA noted.
The delegation consists of 47 members from the convention and exhibition society, including representatives from companies and organizations such as INTEX Shanghai Co. Ltd. and China National Automotive Industry International Corporation.
Meanwhile, the annual conference will highlight topics including:
