Ministry denies report of military drill targeting China

Taipei, April 7 (CNA) Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND) on Wednesday denied a report that it was preparing a military drill in which it will simulate an attack on China.
The MND said in a statement that the report by the tabloid weekly Next Magazine, which said the military will include mid-range ballistic missiles and cruise missiles in the 2010 Han Kuang live-fire war games, was factually inaccurate.
The military exercise is scheduled to take place before the end of April.
