The fourth Syria reconstruction exhibition will be held in Damascus from 10th to 14th of October.
'Syria is considered a strategic economic partner of Iran, and the Organization for the Development of Trade plans to create the ground for the participation of Iranian companies in the reconstruction of the Syrian economic and industrial infrastructure,' Farzad Piltan added.
The Director General of the Arabic-African Bureau of Trade Development Organization of Iran added that the presence of Iranian companies at the Syria reconstruction exhibition on the one hand is a good opportunity to demonstrate the country's capabilities in the field of engineering and engineering services, and, on the other hand, to identify the exact needs of Syria in various areas of industrial and technical and engineering services.
He said that exports from Iran to Syria have been increasing in recent years, saying that the country's major export items include chemicals, pharmaceutical supplements and construction materials.
Trade between Iran and Syria in the years before ISIS appearance reached about $545 million, but then decreased, so last year the total trade turnover between the two countries was announced at $185 million.
