Syrian Army intensifies raids on terrorists

Damascus, Aug 10, IRNA -- Syrian Army have targeted strongholds of terrorist group Jabhat al-Nusra in Hama countryside, killing scores of them.
'Army units carried out intensive operations against sites of "Turkistan Party" affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra on the eastern side of al-Ghab plain in the villages of Waset, al-Mansoura and al-Ziara,' the Syrian news agency SANA reported on Friday.
Dozens of terrorists were killed in the operation, the report said.
The Army also continued their progress in cleansing Sweida Badia (Desert) from Daesh (ISIS) terrorists, according to SANA.
'The reporter added that army units eliminated a terrorist group in Arad al-Keraa and chased their remnants as heavy clashes erupted in the direction of Toluol al-Safa which is one of Daesh main sites in the area,' according to the report.
The engineering units of Syrian Army have also combed areas retaken from the terrorists, defusing booby traps and land mines.
