Syrian Army shoots down Zionists' fighter jet, drone

Damascus, Sept 13, IRNA -- Syrian Army announced Tuesday that it has shot down a fighter bomber and a spy drone belonging to the Zionist regime in Quneitra in southwest of Syria.
In a statement, the Syrian Army said the fighter bombers of the Zionist regime's air force targeted one of the bases of the Syrian Army in the vicinity of Quneitra. The bombers' attacks were responded by the Syrian air defense.
The statement also announced that the Syrian Army has shot down the Zionists' spy drone in west of Sa'sa' located in southwest of Syrian capital of Damascus.
According to the Syrian Army report, the Zionist regime warplanes violated the Syrian airspace in line with supporting the terrorist groups in Syria and strengthening their spirits as they have repeatedly faced heavy defeats in the Quneitra vicinity.
