Syrian army seizes Ta'ana town in Aleppo province

Tehran, Feb 7, IRNA -- The Syrian army takes back another key town following fierce clashes with foreign-backed terrorists.
The strategic town of Ta'ana in the Eastern part of Aleppo province came under the Syrian Army's full control. It is close to the industrial region of Sheikh Najjar.
Meantime, the Syrian Air Force backed by artillery shelling pounded the military positions of the terrorists in Hayan and Bayanoun towns.
Elsewhere in Aleppo province, the Air Force struck the military position of militants in Hraytan town.
Meantime, the Syrian Army continued to advance towards Tal Rafat in Northern Aleppo.
Also, the Syrian and Russian air forces in a joint operation hit the terrorists' positions in Andan and the surrounding areas of Bashkoy in the Northern parts of Aleppo.
Meantime, scores of terrorists were killed and wounded in fierce clashes with the army in Sin and Rasm al-Alam towns in Eastern Aleppo.
With the recent recapture of Ratyan and Mayer in Northern Aleppo, the Syrian Armed Forces have finally reached the Aleppo-Gaziantep Highway near the contested villages of Bayanoun, Kafr Naya, and Hayyan after an intense battle with the terrorists of Nusra Front, the Free Syrian Army, Jeish Al-Mujahiddeen, Harakat Nouriddeen al-Zinki, and Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham.
