Russian Jets Destroy ISIL Command Post, Bunker in Syria

Russian Su-24M and Su-25 attack aircraft destroyed an ISIL command post in the Idlib province, whereas Su-34 and Su-25 planes eliminated an ISIL fortified bunker in the Hama province.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russian air group deployed in Syria on Friday carried out 14 combat missions targeting Islamic State positions, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
'Throughout the day, the Russian air group continued pinpointed strikes on Islamic State positions in Syria,' the ministry's spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said in a statement.
'Su-34, Su-24M and Su-25 jets carried out 14 combat missions, conducting six airstrikes,' Konashenkov said.
According to the official, Su-24M and Su-25 attack aircraft destroyed an ISIL command post in the Idlib province.
Russian Su-34 and Su-25 attack aircraft carried out on Friday airstrikes against Islamic State targets in Syria's Hama province using high-precision bombs, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
According to Konashenkov, Su-34 jets hit an ISIL fortified bunker in the Hama province with guided bombs.
'Objective monitoring confirmed that one of the bombs destroyed a command post and its infrastructure with a direct hit.'
