Larijani: US war against Syria will have hellish end

Ashgabat, Sept 7, IRNA -- Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani, by referring to the US decision to attack Syria, said it might seem easy at first, but it would have a hellish end.
Larijani, who was speaking in a gathering of Iranians in the venue of Iran's embassy in Ashgabat on Saturday, strongly criticized the US secretary of state's statement that opposition in Syria are not terrorists, adding it is regrettable that the US secretary of state explicitly tells lies.
Majlis speaker also strongly criticized support for terrorists in the name of establishing democracy.
ˈWe do believe that democracy should be supported in Syria, but not by guns and tanks.ˈ
He underlined that all regional countries should try to prevent a new war.
Concerning his talks with Turkmenistan officials, he said that the meetings were constructive and Turkmenistan officials intend to expand bilateral relations and eliminate existing problems.
Larijani, by referring to importance of Persian Language in increasing trade between the two countries, said that increasing trade naturally needs further communication.
