Vahidi rejects presence of Iranian forces in Syria

Tehran, July 25, IRNA -- Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi rejected Wednesday the presence of Iranian military forces in Syria, describing it as foreign media propaganda to cover up the presence of foreign terrorists in that country.
Talking to reporters at the end of cabinet session, he said the terrorist groups from all over the world are now present in Syria to kill innocent and defenseless Syrian people.
Reports show that the Syrian army has been successful in countering terrorist operations.
