Turkey will do its best for release of Iranians in Syria: Davutoglu

TEHRAN (ISNA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said the country would do its best to secure release of other Iranians kidnapped in Syria.
Davutoglu in a phone call with Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi declared release of 11 Iranians after Iran pursued freedom of the kidnapped Iranian nationals in Syria and held talks with Turkey.
"We did our best due to friendship and brotherhood between the two countries and to make Iranian nations happy. 11 Iranian brothers were released," Turkish Foreign Minister said.
"We continue our efforts to release other Iranians," he added.
Salehi on his part expressed gratitude for Turkish officials' efforts and expressed hope the other Iranian pilgrims in Syria would be released soon.
