Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives Russian President

Riyadh, October 14, 2019, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh today President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.

The President was received by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

An official reception was held for the President, where the national anthems of the two countries were played.

Then, the Russian President shook hands with Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet's Member, and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Space Commission; Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy; Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Cabinet's Member; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; and a number of ministers and military sector chiefs.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with the official delegation accompanying the Russian President.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud accompanied President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation to the main reception hall at the Royal Court, where he shook hands with princes, ministers and senior officials.

The King also shook hands with senior Russian officials accompanying the Russian President during his current visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques held a luncheon in honor of the Russian President.

The audience was attended by a number of princes and senior officials.
