HRH Crown Prince, Russian President Hold Official Talks

Riyadh, Oct 14, 2019, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and the visiting Russian President Vladimir Putin, held official talks here today.

During the reception, they reviewed aspects of Saudi-Russian relations, domains of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, exploring more promising opportunities, in the two countries, in all fields, including cooperation in the domain of energy and investment in the infrastructure, in addition to cooperation to stabilize energy markets and strike balance between the interests of the consumers as well as the producers.

They also reviewed a number of latest developments, especially, the situation in Syria and Yemen, significance of combat extremism and terrorism and work towards drying up their sources.

The talks was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, Prince Abdulaziz bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Commerce and Investment and Acting Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Member of the Cabinet Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khirayev, Saudi Ambassador to Russia Raed Qarmali.

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and other prominent members of the Russian accompanying delegation, also attended the talks.
