In his speech to the 14th Manama Dialogue Conference held in Bahrain, Al-Jubeir highlighted the optimistic outlook for the future in the leadership and the people of the Kingdom. The focus is now on economic growth and diversification, empowering women, achieving youth aspirations, accountability and transparency.

He stressed the need to hold accountable those involved in the case of the death of Jamal Khashoggi after the end of investigations in the Saudi Arabia and Turkey, calling for not to take positions and blame on one before the end of investigations completely, stressing that the Kingdom will adopt mechanisms to prevent that incident from happening again.

The Foreign Minister explained that the Kingdom has no relations with Israel, pointing out that normalization with it will be achieved through the Arab peace initiative adopted by the 2002 Arab Summit and after allowing the Palestinians to establish their state with East Jerusalem, Al-Quds, as its capital.

He stressed the strength of relations between the Kingdom and the United States of America, describing the solid, and said: "The Kingdom is an ally of Western countries, and that this alliance will not change despite the passage of successes and failures"

In response to a question about the various alliances in the region and the need to unify them, Al-Jubeir denied the existence of multiple alliances. He said: "The GCC has alliances with Jordan and Egypt and these alliances are governed by mutual interests between countries, but when President Trump came to the presidency he assured that he would not leave the allies of America, which is encouraged by the Kingdom, where it was able to achieve great success in eliminating the "Dae'sh" in Iraq. Trump also imposed sanctions on Iran to stop its nuclear program and interference in the countries of the region, deeming US as strategic ally.

Al-Jubeir said that the GCC is the most important institution in the Gulf despite the dispute with Qatar, and working to ensure that this dispute does not affect the work of the Council.

With regard to the security alliance in the region, Al-Jubeir affirmed the support of Saudi Arabia for this alliance, and the continuation of the discussions between Jordan and Egypt to clear the ideas, in order to achieve the basic objective of ensuring security for the region.

On the suspension of Germany to sell arms to the Kingdom, he said: "The Kingdom has ceased to buy weapons from Germany long time ago."
