WASHINGTON -- Today, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent spoke with Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Jadaan. The Secretary underscored the Administration's restoration of the maximum pressure campaign to keep Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, deter its ballistic missile capabilities, and eliminate the threat posed by Iranian proxies. Secretary Bessent also noted the importance of joint collaboration in addressing challenges and new opportunities in the Middle East and globally.
