Pentagon Hosts Saudi-US Defense Talks

Washington, February 25, 2025, SPA -- US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth hosted Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz at the Pentagon yesterday.
An official reception ceremony included an honor guard review and the playing of both national anthems. The two officials and their respective delegations exchanged greetings.
During a subsequent bilateral meeting, they emphasized the historical friendship and strategic partnership between the US and Saudi Arabia. Discussions focused on strengthening military and defense cooperation and reviewing regional and international developments, along with efforts to promote security and stability.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the US Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Christopher Grady, Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Katherine Thompson, and several other senior officials from both sides.
