Russian-Tajikistani talks
The Palace of the Nation hosted talks between Vladimir Putin and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

Following a restricted-attendance meeting, the talks continued with the participation of national delegations.
Earlier, an official ceremony welcoming the President of Russia by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took place ahead of the talks. The national anthems of both countries were played, and the leaders introduced the members of their official delegations. A guard of honour marched past at the end of the ceremony.
Following the state visit, the presidents signed a joint statement on deepening relations of strategic partnership and alliance. They also signed a package of interstate, intergovernmental and interagency documents.
Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon also made statements for the media.
