On September 24, in New York, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, participating in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, held a meeting with Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Le Hoai Trung.
The parties exchanged views on pressing issues of the bilateral agenda, with particular emphasis on implementing agreements reached during the official visit of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam to Moscow in May this year. They also discussed collaboration between their respective ministries.
