We convene for the second time as foreign ministers of the member states of the Confederation of Sahel States and the Russian Federation.
We recall how productive our meeting in Moscow this past April was. We aspire to continue this highly promising format.
We have much in common - not only on bilateral matters such as business, economics, cultural affairs, and defence - but also within the United Nations and other international organisations, particularly in the context of Russia-Africa collaboration.
We are now entering the preparatory phase for the third Russia-Africa Summit, scheduled for 2026. We are confident that the countries represented here will exert every effort to ensure its success.
