On August 22, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, at the latter's initiative.
The foreign ministers discussed the development of bilateral relations in the context of the agreements reached by the presidents of the two countries, upcoming contacts and joint efforts at international and regional platforms to enhance trust and cooperation in our common region.
