On July 29, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Vershinin met with Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Rabea Saad Al-Adsani on the sidelines of the High-Level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution in New York.
The parties discussed the current situation in the Gulf region and the area of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and underscored the need to adopt urgent measures for maintaining regional security and stability.
During the conversation the parties also discussed some current issues of further progressive development of traditionally friendly Russian-Kuwaiti relations.
