Baltic Fleet's storm boats carry out combat training missions at sea
10.03.2025 (22:30)
A Baltic Fleet's formation undergoes a planned exercise involving fast storm boats Lt. Rimsky-Korsakov and Denis Davydov.
As part of the planned combat training, the crews of the Baltic Fleet's storm boats practised a number of training tasks in accordance with their direct purpose.
Ship exercises and anti-sabotage drills were conducted at sea involving the storm boats' crews during a stay on an unsafe roadstead. The training also involved action in a difficult radiation environment. During the drills, the servicemen practised grenade throwing exercises and the crew's radiation protection drills.
As they sailed, the crews performed various elements of maritime manoeuvres when there was a risk of the enemy's attack. In order to create an environment as close as possible to a combat one, the storm boats carried out rapid manoeuvring, practising various approaches to the shore and emergency situations on the ship.
