Dear soldiers, sailors, sergeants, first sergeants, warrant officers, and officers!
Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War, combat operations, and military service!
I congratulate you on the Defender of the Fatherland Day. This day of the Armed Forces became a truly public holiday. It symbolises the heroic history of Russia, replete with the actions of those who fought for their homeland at different times.
The 2025 year, declared the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, is marked by an important anniversary - the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The feats of the Soviet people, who defeated the Nazism, who defended the freedom and the independence of the Fatherland, are an example of exceptional resilience and selflessness for us.
Today, true bravery and courage are demonstrated by the heirs of the front-line soldiers - participants of the special military operation. They bravely fight against neo-Nazism, ensure the sovereignty of the country and the security of our citizens.
Dear friends!
On this landmark day, I wish you the happiness, prosperity, and further success in your service and work in the name of Russia!
I address with particular gratitude the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, whose heroism, bravery will always be a model of faithfulness and love for the Fatherland. I wish you good health, longevity, and strength of life!
