
International security symposium is held in Indonesia in framework of Komodo 2025 Naval Exercise

Denpasar (Republic of Indonesia) is hosting the International symposium on security in the framework of the Komodo 2025 Multilateral International Naval Exercise. Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Admiral Vladimir Vorobyov spoke on behalf of the Russian delegation.
The main focus of the exercise is to practise a set of joint actions by ship and vessel military personnel taking part in the exercise to provide assistance to ships in distress at sea and to rescue crew members.
Two modern corvettes of the Project 20380 are representing the Russian Navy at the exercise this year. These are the Pacific Fleet's corvettes Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov and Rezky The vessels are escorted by the tanker Pechenga. The Komodo 2025 multilateral naval exercise, organised by the Indonesian Navy, involves warships and observers from more than 30 countries.
