On February 14, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.
The officials exchanged opinions on key issues of bilateral relations, discussed the timeframe for upcoming contacts and explored ways to enhance mutual collaboration within international organisations. They particularly focused on celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
The ministers reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further expanding fruitful cooperation across various spheres.
