Small-size missile ship Uglich crew of Caspian Fleet trains to fight for survivity
05.01.2025
The small-size missile ship Uglich crew of the Caspian Fleet conducted a combat survivity training at the home station.
The Caspian Fleet sailors trained localising and putting out the fire in the ship's decks, eliminating 'wholes' in the ship's hull, and eliminating the movement of overboard water. A total of about 30 servicemen from the crew of the small-size missile ship Uglich were involved in the training.
According to the drills, the ship suffered a breach lower than the waterline, as a result of which the drawing water began to flow to the compartment. An incident management team eliminated the wholes in the ship's hull by installing a training band.
This kind of exercises are a compulsory element of training of ships from the Caspian Fleet.
