Statement by Russian Defence Minister on results of CIS Defence Ministers meeting

Today, we have summarised the results of our work this year and have planned over 120 events to be held in 2025.
We have paid a particular attention to the concept of the military cooperation within the framework of the CIS until 2030. I would like to note that this concept is aimed at strengthening combat readiness of armed forces and ensuring security of our countries.
We have made decisions on enhancing joint military systems, namely:
• a joint state radar identification system;
• a joint military geoinformation system;
• a joint air defence system of the CIS member-states.
We have adopted a plan of joint air defence drills for the next year.
We have adopted a programme to prepare for celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory and the IV CIS Games.
We have agreed on measures to strengthen stability in the Eurasian region within the framework with different countries and organisation.
