
Pacific Fleet's detachment makes a business call to the port of George Town, Malaysia

A detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet made up of the corvettes Goromky, Rezky, and Aldar Tsydenzhapov has made a business call at the port of George Town, Malaysia.
During a visit, the crews of the ships will take part in commemorations to mark the 110th anniversary of the sinking of the Imperial Russian Navy cruiser Zhemchug.
The wreath-laying ceremonies and memorial services will be held at the Western Road Christian Cemetery in George Town and on Jerejak Island. In addition, a series of meetings with local authorities for the ships' command and cultural events for the crews have been planned.
The detachment will be in port George Town until 17 October 2024. After that, it will continue missions in the Asia-Pacific region.
