
Laros 2024 joint Russian-Laotian drills conclude at Sergeyevsky training ground in Primorye region

The closing ceremony of the Laros 2024 joint Russian-Laotian military exercise was held at the Eastern Military District's military training ground.
Deputy Commander of the Eastern Military District Lieutenant General Mikhail Nosulev, representatives of the command and personnel of the combined-arms formation of the Eastern Military District stationed in Primorsky region, Lao People's Armed Forces Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Phan Seng, officers, and servicemen of the Laotian troops took part in the event.
Military officials of both states emphasised that the participants of the exercise demonstrated high level of their combat readiness and cooperation. Furthermore, the servicemen exchanged combat experience of the present-day conflicts.
'Despite the difficulty of the joint counter-terrorism tasks, all goals of the Laros 2024 joint Russian-Laotian drills have been achieved. All missions of the exercise have been accomplished,' said Deputy Commander of the Eastern Military District Lieutenant General Mikhail Nosulev.
At the parade ground of the tent camp, the servicemen, who showed excellent performance during the exercise, were presented with honourary distinctions and gifts for good memory. At the end of the ceremony, Russian and Laotian servicemen marched alongside each other. The Eastern Military District's guard of honour also performed there.
